[VIDEO] Houston's Disaster Relief Efforts - What We Are Doing, and How You Can Help

How We Are Pitching In

- We've donated over $2,000 so far from our Give Back Fund to the Houston Food Bank, The Red Cross, and GlobalGiving, with several thousand more to be donated in Houston in the coming weeks

- The Earthquake Bag donates $5 from every order to our Give Back Fund that goes to disaster relief

- We are traveling to Houston September 20-24 to volunteer in the relief efforts

- Watching people around the country come together to support Houston has been inspirational

How You Can Donate

Here are a few organizations that we like undertaking relief efforts looking for donations. Do your own research to find an organization that you trust. The Charity Navigator is a great independent charity auditor.

Houston Food Bank - local food bank that provides 3 nutritious meals for every $1 donated (EQB donation)

GlobalGiving - a global crowdfunding platform with a $2million goal for Harvey, to be used first for immediate needs of food, water and shelter and then transition to long-term recovery efforts (EQB donation)

The Red Cross - one of the best outfitted orgs on the ground, ready to provide real assistance (EQB donation)

The Greater Houston Community Foundation - a Harvey relief fund launched by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner

United Way of Greater Houston - well-known org is hoping to add to it's disaster relief fund for Harvey.

How You Can Volunteer
